Highmark offers free or low-cost health insurance to uninsured children through its mission products: CHIP (children's Health Insurance Program) and the adultBasic program. The benefits for the CHIP program includes: Check-ups, Immunizations, and Doctor Visits; Diagnostic Tests; Emergency Care; Outpatient Surgery; Dental, Vision and Hearing Care; Prescription Drugs; Mental Health Care; and Inpatient Hospital Care, substance abuse and durable medical goods. The benefits for adultbasic includes: doctor office vists, diagnostic tesing, emergency care, hospitalization, maternity, outpatient surgery, rehabilitaiton therapies, home health care and skilled nursing.
